2022-2023 Model School Recipients
Sarasota County, FL, December 20, 2023 – Sarasota County Schools proudly announces the distinction of 33 schools as Florida Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports Project (PBIS) Model Schools for the 2022-2023 academic year. Among these, 21 schools achieved Bronze, 9 earned Silver, 1 secured Gold, and 2 attained Platinum designations.
Notably, we extend special recognition to Booker High School, Laurel Nokomis School, Sarasota High School, and Southside Elementary School for achieving the Model School award for the first time.
This accomplishment reflects the commitment of our schools to excellence in education, creating a positive impact on student learning and school culture.
