ASYNCHRONOUS LEARNING Instruction is pre-built into each course, not delivered directly by the instructor Students work independently through the lessons and progress through the course Instructors are there to offer help and to grade assignments Students follow a weekly pacing guide with minimum pacing expectations At least 6% progress in each course, every course This ensures they will finish by the end of each semester Students can finish early, but when the semester is over, the course is closed Instructors are available by phone/email during normal school hours, but with a 24-hour turnaround time. Students should not expect an immediate response from their instructor, as this is not the same as traditional brick and mortar school Students can always work ahead and do more than the weekly minimum
