Prospective new hire employees must have an appointment in order to get fingerprinted.

This includes any of the following positions:

• charter school new hires

• interns

• substitutes

• coaches

• volunteer coaches…

Must bring to the Fingerprint Office at the time of appointment:

• ‘Fingerprint Authorization' Form from Human Resources

• Photo ID

• Fee: $90
  (Visa, Master Card, Discover, AmEx, Money order, Cashier’s Check)

Background Screening Guidelines:
In reviewing Security Background Check forms and fingerprint results, the District makes a determination of clearance or disqualification based on the following resources:

• Sarasota County School Board Policy

• Chapter 6.00-Human Resources Employment of Personnel 6.10*+:

• Human Resources Employee Background Screening Standards
