Dear SMS families,
This week, students participated in various educational activities connected to Holocaust Education Week, which coincides with the anniversary of Kristallnacht. Also know as the Night of Broken Glass, this event in 1938 was a major turning point in the persecution of European Jews by the Nazi regime. Please read below to hear about how teachers met the objectives of this week.
We want to congratulate the students who achieved a Perfect Score on on one or more of our state-wide Assessments - posted at right. These students were invited to a celebration on Thursday where they were recognized for their achievements.
