Meet Mrs. Hawkins, a dedicated 5th-grade teacher at Laurel Nokomis School! Originally from a suburb outside of Chicago, she pursued her passion for education at Eastern Illinois University. Mrs. Hawkins knew from a young age, at just 10 years old, that teaching was her calling, driven by her desire to shape the future of our nation. 🌟
Her love for math stems from its universal language, and she thrives on sharing its wonders with her students. Beyond the classroom, Mrs. Hawkins wears the hat of a taxi driver, shuttling her children to various activities. Her daughter is involved in dance, and her son plays with the Venice Falcons.
