Let’s meet Brentwood’s School Counselor….
Audrey Benitez joined our Brentwood Family in October of 2023. She earned a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Counselor Education - School Counseling from Florida International University in Miami, FL. During her studies, she worked as a Marching Band Coach, Substitute Teacher, Elementary Music Teacher, and Tutor for Miami-Dade County Public Schools. She moved to Sarasota in 2017 where she began her work as a School Counselor and was a Middle School Counselor at Sarasota Military Academy. She has enjoyed meeting our students and teachers and has taught lessons on Empathy, Citizenship, Gratitude, and Determination. The next upcoming lessons she plans to teach are about Friendship.
