Hello Gulf Gate Families! This is Principal Miller with today’s important notes straight from Gulf Gate. We had an incredibly fun Pep Rally last week kicking off the Tiger Trot. This is our largest fundraiser of the year and we have set a school goal of raising $13,000. Did your child tell you what happens if we do so? Be sure to ask them and help them start getting pledges now.
Check out what is happening:
· Speaking of the Tiger Trot, it’s time to help your child get in the pledges. We have raised $380 of the $13,000 goal as of today, so start now to get people to sponsor your child. You can even send out the electronic link for people to pledge and sponsor your child with a personal message at: www.99pledges.com/fund/TigerTrot25
· We need your help parents! Students are never to walk from the parking lot into the school alone. You must escort them into the school building if you enter the parking lot area. If you want to drop them off, you must do so in the parent loop prior to 8:30. We appreciate your help with this.
· Spring Pictures are this Wednesday, 2/12. Remember, that only students with order forms will be taking pictures this round, so be sure to order online (flyer sent home last week) or bring in your form to your teacher.
· This week we have the Grade 4 Music Concert: Thursday, 2/13 (students report at 5:30/ concert begins at 6pm). Students should wear jeans and a black, blue, or white shirt and the theme is “Forever Rock & Roll.”
· Are you too tired to cook on Thursday this week? Well, we can help. We have a spirit night at Applebee’s (Palmer Crossing) from 4:00-9:00pm. Just be sure to mention Gulf Gate Elementary and we will get 10% of your check total donated back to the school.
