We are proud to announce that Pine View School has been recognized at the Platinum Award level on the College Board’s 2024 Advanced Placement (AP) Honor Roll for outstanding achievement in the categories of College Culture, College Credit, and College Optimization. This is the highest level of recognition, with only a select few schools reaching this prestigious status. Pine View significantly exceeded the College Board’s expectations in these areas.
To earn Platinum status, Pine View met the following criteria:
80% of the Class of 2025 has experienced at least one AP course before graduating.
50% of the Class of 2025 has earned college credit by scoring a three or higher on an AP Exam.
15% of the Class of 2025 has taken a total of five AP courses throughout their high school years.
Additionally, Pine View has been awarded the AP Access Award for its commitment to providing equitable access to rigorous, college-level coursework. This honor is given to schools where the percentage of underrepresented and/or low-income students enrolled in AP courses matches or exceeds the percentage of these students in the school’s graduating class.
These recognitions reflect Pine View’s dedication to fostering an inclusive and challenging academic environment that prepares all students for future success. Congratulations to the Pine View community for this remarkable achievement!
