The Sarasota County School District will provide Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) programming in the fall of 2024. The VPK Choice Window is now open through June 7, 2024.
If you are interested in enrolling:
Your child needs to be 4 on or before September 1, 2024.
1. You will need to create an Early Learning Portal account to obtain a VPK Certificate of Eligibility from the Sarasota Early Learning Coalition or ELC at: https://familyservices.floridaearlylearning.com/Account/Login
2. Once you have the Certificate of Eligibility from the ELC, please sign, date, scan, and upload it in an email; send it to VPK@sarasotacountyschools.net. If you cannot send it via email, please visit the PreK Office at 1960 Landings Blvd. Sarasota, Florida 34231.
3. Parents who have already submitted their Certificate of Eligibility do not need to resend to the PreK Office.
4. The PreK office will contact parents for placement status after the Choice Window closes.
