Students enrolled full-time in SVS:
Take a full schedule of 6 classes
Elementary students have five classes (4 core + 1 elective)
Seniors can take less than a full schedule if they only need a few remaining classes to graduate
Follow the regular school calendar (August to May)
Students get all regular holidays "off"
Participate in state testing, just like students in brick-and-mortar school
Graduate with a fully accredited diploma from Sarasota Virtual School
