Good evening North Port Senior parents:  Following is important senior information. You will be receiving another call at 5:30 regarding a new tardy tracking system. Please take the time to listen to that message as well.  We are coming to the end of our first semester, so I want to make sure everyone know dates and time for semester two events.  All seniors received a pamphlet with senior dates at the beginning of the year.  These will be available again in their English classes in January.  The school calendar will have all final senior dates on it by January as well.  Following are several very important pieces to remember:

Graduation is an invitation event. All students will receive eight tickets for the May 16 Graduation here at NPHS.

Students must have all lunch and book fees paid and all uniforms returned prior to receiving their graduation tickets

Practice is at 8 am on May 15. Students must attend the practice in order walk in graduation

Senior exams begin on May 8 and go through May 14, but AICE and AP exams begin April 24 and go through June 14

Please make sure your student has all important dates and sees guidance or administration if there are any questions.  Thank you, and remember: NP Works, NP Wins

Good evening NP Parents: On Monday morning, December 10, NPHS is rolling out a new tardy tracking system. Students and faculty have been schooled on the new system all week. Students are always expected to be on time to class. Any student who arrives at a classroom after the bell has rung must see one of five campus security monitors, each of whom is stationed at a building, to receive a pass. This pass will log the time and date of the tardy, and the student will proceed to class. Beginning with the third tardy, parents will be notified; a fourth tardy will result in a lunch detention. Students who are more than ten minutes late are considered absent and must report to the attendance office for their pass. This is consistent with the current policy in place.  You as a parent will continue to access your child’s information through the parent portal.  At NPHS, instruction is bell to bell; student who attend succeed! Thank  you for working with us to ensure this success.  NP Works, NP Wins
