Meet the Tuttle Administration

Principal, Dr. Patti Folino
Having been in education for over 25 years, I cannot think of any other job I’d rather do. I am fortunate to work with amazing teachers and staff while inspiring a love for learning with our brilliant students. In addition to my teaching career, I am very proud to be the mother of two wonderful children who have grown way too fast. I love my job and continue to be fascinated with the new research and developments in education and learning.
My family moved to North Sarasota when I was 19 years old. I’ve remained in the area except for the 2 years while I was in Gainesville attending UF. Some of my hobbies include running, reading, and finding engaging ways we can inspire our students to be their best selves. Tuttle is an amazing place to be and I feel so fortunate to be part of our school community!

Assistant Principal, Sara Knouse
Hello Tuttle Families! I am so excited to be back at Tuttle for another fantastic year of teaching and learning with your children. This is my 2nd year at Tuttle, and 20th year in education! Prior to being an assistant principal, I spent 13 years in the classroom teaching 3rd, 4th and 5th grades and as an instructional coach.
I moved to Florida (from Michigan) after high school to attend college at the University of West Florida. After college, I moved to Sarasota and started teaching. Outside of education, I love spending time with my son and being outside on the water or hiking.
Thank you for allowing me to serve you and your children here at Tuttle, I can’t think of a better place to be!
