Program Overview
The Patient Care Technician program at STC prepares students for employment as advanced cross trained nursing assistants, patient care technicians/assistants, health technologists & technicians, orderlies, home health aids, or allied health assistants. It offers a broad foundation of knowledge and skills, expanding the traditional role of the nursing assistant, for both acute and long-term care settings.

Lectures taught by experienced instructors.
Hands-on instruction with moderate to high fidelity patient simulators.
Clinical rotations for thorough patient care experience.
