The Suncoast Technical College/SPHS Media Center is located at the Suncoast Technical College Main Campus, Building 2. It contains a wide variety of online learning resources and in-house materials (books and audio visual materials) selected to support classroom curricula as well as meet personal needs and interests. All enrolled students may check out materials and are welcome to use the facility as an information resource.

The Media Center maintains an exceptional variety of current career-related books, as well as thousands of fiction and non-fiction books. Students and staff have access to computer stations to access the internet, use software and e-mail applications, and access research information databases. The Media Center provides a wealth of e-resources that include databases geared towards the academic and technical programs at Suncoast Technical College, as well as the Suncoast Polytechnical high school course curriculum. These include:

• Follett Destiny online card catalog
  "Follett Destiny" is the new Sarasota County Schools web-based "one-stop shop" for searching for books in our library collection and accessing our online resources!
  Search for titles available in the library by keyword, subject, title, or author.

  
  

• Online Learning Resources
  Access these resources from school or home. All of the online resources are available to high school students and all staff through MySCS.
  STC Adult students can access these resources by clicking on the link above.
  Brochures are available in the Suncoast Technical College/SPHS media center which includes the password when accessing from off-site.
