Culinary Arts 2 Careers (CA2C) offers a unique learning experience for Sarasota County School ACCESS Student Seniors in hands-on culinary training utilizing STC’s state-of-the-art kitchen. Now in its fourth year, CA2C allows students to cultivate their culinary talents under the guidance of Chef Tiffany Holmes. CA2C fosters an environment where students can safely and supportively develop their culinary skills and earn their Safe-Staff® industry certification. They are also encouraged to participate in the Deferred Diploma program, combining half-day classroom learning with half-day practical work experience at Publix and Wilkinson Elementary School in their school food service department. CA2C offers fresh, delicious, prepared meals and desserts at the vending machine on STC’s first floor.
