Students that previously attended a Sarasota County School and are not currently enrolled in Sarasota County School.

If a parent does not have a previous FOCUS Parent Portal account, they will need to create an account. If a parent had a Focus Parent Portal Account previously, they will need to log into their FOCUS Parent Portal account.

Required Registration Documents

• Proof of Residency  –  Electric bill, Water bill, Property Tax bill or Rental/Lease Agreement in the Registering parent’s name. Please contact the Registrar if you do not have one of the required documents in your name.)

• Immunizations on Florida HRS 680 Form  –  This form is available from a private physician or the Health Department. If you are registering from Out-of-State, you will need to have your child’s out-of-state immunization records transferred to a Florida form.  This can be done at the local health department.

If the following documents were provided during a prior registration, they are not needed. If they were not provided previously, they will be needed prior to enrollment.

• Birth Date Verification  –  Certified copy of Birth Certificate OR Passport or certificate of arrival in the US.

• Physical Examination  –  Physicals must be within 12 months of the enrollment date – signed & dated by a physician and must be a complete comprehensive school physical.

• IF APPLICABLE, Custody/Parenting Plan Agreements.

• PREFERRED DOCUMENTS

  • Previous School Records - Any available information from previous school(s) is helpful, such as: Report Cards, Transcript, Testing and Exceptional Student Information (IEP, 504).

  • Social Security Card
