All school buildings shall be inspected at least once during each school fiscal year by a person who is certified by the relevant designated state agency. Such inspection shall be conducted to determine compliance with statutory requirements and State Board of Education rules and shall include, but not be limited to inspections pertaining to, wiring, plumbing, structural parts, safety hazards, and general repair needs. A copy of such inspection report(s) shall be submitted to the principal.
