Signature Programs

Garden Win Team

The WIN Team is a group of highly qualified staff members with specialized training and certifications who provide supplemental instructional support to students to promote acceleration in academics, behaviors, and/or attendance. WIN stands for “What Individuals Need” which is precisely the purpose of this team, meeting all student needs. The members of this team utilize various resources and techniques to promote student learning in small-group settings.

Groovin’ Garden Gators

The Groovin’ Garden Gators (G3) is an afterschool, elective music ensemble for fourth and fifth graders. This group performs throughout the school year, both on-campus and in the community, showcasing the talent and dedication of these amazing student-musicians. 

Garden Safety Patrol

Garden Elementary is proud to have a quality group of fifth-grade students as members of our school’s Safety Patrol. The purpose of the patrol is to help keep our campus safe by preventing accidents from occurring and to develop leadership qualities in our members. Membership in the Safety Patrol is an honor! Students are chosen based on their character and academic record. Patrols develop responsibility, attention to duty, alertness, dependability, and a sense of social obligation. In addition to protecting the school, the benefits of having a school Safety Patrol range from leadership development and other aspects of personal growth to developing an appreciation of service for others and the desire to build a safer world for tomorrow.

Garden Girls Love To Run

Girls Love to Run is an after-school running program for girls in grades 3-5. This fitness-based program gives girls an opportunity to race against their peers while also learning important life skills like eating healthy, stopping gossip, and realizing their inner potential. Each 10-week session ends with a celebratory 5K. 

Kids News Network (KNN)

The KNN Crew has the opportunity to learn both the behind-the-scenes technical jobs and on-camera talent roles as they produce a live, daily news program that is televised every morning for our school community. Students learn to work in a high-pressure, yet enriching environment and create entertaining and factual segments for their peers to enjoy as they begin their school day. The KNN Crew is excited to start each school day at Garden Elementary with information and entertainment.

Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO)

The Parent Teacher Student Organization plays an essential role in supporting school-wide initiatives at Garden Elementary. Our PTSO is relentless in its support of our school family. They plan “fun”raisers to promote family fun on campus and fundraisers to help enhance the programs at Garden Elementary. PTSO meetings are held monthly, and activities are planned throughout the year to enhance parental and family involvement.
