Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! As the principal at Emma E Booker, I am eager and excited to begin what promises to be a very successful year. Our academic objectives can be accomplished by successfully working together. Our partnership with parents as well as other community members is a key point in our success. We are a place of learning, belonging, growth, and support for students, families, and the community. Ensuring a safe learning environment is our top goal in providing quality education. We can do great things together as we work as ONE for the SUCCESS of all.

Emma E. Booker School will operate under the philosophy that when we all work together in a problem-solving manner with a “no-fault” approach, we will be able to meet our students’ academic needs. Our team organization allows us to collaborate and brainstorm. As we work to ensure Emma E. Booker Elementary School becomes a Professional Learning Community, staff will work collaboratively in recurring cycles of collective inquiry and action research to achieve better results for the students they serve. The belief that the key to improved learning for students is continuous job-embedded learning for educators will become a part of our collective belief system.

Emma E. Booker has an incredible amount of community involvement. Our volunteer program includes parents and community members who give in so many ways including classroom support and mentoring programs. We are thankful for each and every volunteer who is committed to our students and families.
