Student Services

School Counseling

The Booker High School guidance staff is available to provide students with support in a wide variety of areas.  The Counseling staff includes counselors, a social worker, a psychologist, a college and career readiness advisor, and administrative assistants.

A student's counselor provides assistance to students with academic concerns, scheduling, and career planning.  In addition, counselors can assist students who are struggling with social, behavioral, or emotional concerns and direct students and their families to additional support resources in the school and the community.  Our students receive services from their counselor based on the students' graduation cohort and last name.

Counselors are available to meet with students by appointment from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. They are also immediately available if there is a student crisis or urgent matter.  Students and parents can email counselors from links above or call the guidance secretary to set up an appointment at 941-355-2967.
