The SCS Food & Nutrition Services team will once again offer free Summer BreakSpot meals throughout June and July to help ensure children continue to have access to nutritious meals while school is out of session. Breakfast and lunch will be available for children 18 years old and younger at participating school and community locations throughout Sarasota County. No registration or application is required.

Through partnerships with organizations including All Faiths Food Bank and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties, families also have access to additional food distribution opportunities and community resources during the summer months.

Program schedules and meal availability vary by location, with some sites operating Monday through Thursday and others Monday through Friday.
