I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and enjoyed time with your families. We now have just 14 school days until Winter Break, and there are so many exciting things happening at Gulf Gate between now and then!

PM2 FAST Progress Monitoring Begins This Week
We begin our second round of FAST PM2 testing, and our students are ready to shine! Testing dates for ELA this week:
· 12/2 – 3rd Grade ELA
· 12/3 – 4th Grade ELA
· 12/4 – 5th Grade ELA
Next week, we will assess Math:
· 12/9 – 3rd Grade Math
· 12/10 – 4th Grade Math
· 12/11 – 5th Grade Math
Students have been issued a personal growth challenge to meet their half-year growth goal. This challenge focuses on improving their own individual scores. Please help us encourage them at home to get rest, stay positive, and come ready to “show their stuff” on testing days!
Students who reach their goal will earn a special treat and even an extra VIP recess time!

Donuts With Grownups
We can’t wait to welcome families for this fun morning event! All events are 8:00–8:30 AM under the PE Pavilion.

· 12/8 – 2nd & 3rd Grades
· 12/9 – 4th & 5th Grades
Students may bring a favorite grownup. Please enter through the front gates (no need to check in at the office).

KONA Ice – This Wednesday, 12/3
KONA Ice will be on campus this Wednesday! Please check your email for the QR code to pre-order or see the flyer sent home. Proceeds help support our PBIS program and ROAR Store!

Tiger Trot – THANK YOU!
We are so grateful for your support—together we raised $7,270 during Tiger Trot! This money will directly support student needs, PBIS initiatives, and staff incentives all year long. Thank you for helping us make Gulf Gate such a special place!

Chick-fil-A Spirit Night – This Friday!
Skip the cooking and join us at Chick-fil-A (Pelican Plaza) this Friday, 12/5 from 5–8 PM. Be sure to mention Gulf Gate Elementary so a portion of sales comes back to our school!
