Good evening, Gulf Gate families—this is Mrs. Miller with your Miller’s Minute.
I want to start by saying a huge thank you for helping make this year’s Carnival the best one yet! We were so encouraged by the incredible staff participation and by the many families who came out to celebrate being a Tiger on that chilly night. It truly was a wonderful evening and a great example of our strong school community.
Just a few friendly reminders for this week:
First, Valentine Grams are on sale in the lobby! If your child would like to send a Valentine Gram to a classmate or friend, be sure to stop by and purchase one this week.
Second, Wednesday, February 11th is Spring Picture Day for students who pre-paid and placed an order. Be sure to come ready with your best smile!
Third, our Kid Heart Challenge is now underway! We are excited to participate in this program that teaches students about heart health while supporting the American Heart Association’s lifesaving work. We encourage all families to register online and join us in helping our students become heart heroes while building healthy habits.
And finally, a reminder that we have a long weekend coming up. There will be no school on Monday, February 16th, in observance of Presidents Day.
