I. Welcome
George McGonagill called the meeting to order at
The minutes were approved as corrected, with a motion by Javier Brito, seconded by Mickey Anderson
A motion was made by Roland Piccone to approve new members, Bill Glueck and Justin Thompson. Javier Brito seconded the motion.
II. Director’s Report
· Enrollment Summary:
· There is an increase in Adults With Disabilities this month
· Apprenticeship numbers are lower, but almost the same as last month
· The inclusion of adults in the Auto Body program was discussed and referred to the Administrative team.
·
District Student Performance: Bruce reported on the district FCAT results
for math and reading in grades 3-5, 6-8, and 9-10.
III. Old Business

Special Focus Programs: There will be a report in January regarding
the curriculum work and advertising that has been done for these programs and
their results.
IV. New
Business
· Articulation Agreements: There are some issues and inconsistencies regarding the agreements. A few programs do not have agreements. Carolyn indicated that this may be a good year to renegotiate the agreements due to state funding issues at the university level. Mickey suggested that agreements be articulated with industry. He further suggested that the automotive agreement could be used as a model for others.

SDMT Report
· The staff will vote on the revised organizational plan this month. Open House is November 29 and there is a recruitment event for adults on October 18
