Phillippi Shores Elementary SAC Minutes

1)         Meeting was called to order 3:38 p.m.

 

 

2)                  Minutes from 12/05/2008 meeting were approved.

 

3)                  Student Action Committee report-

Mrs. Dearing discussed with the Sac Committee that the student council is now called the Student Action Committee. We were informed that the Student Action Committee will be making peace poles and on the sides of the poles have the word peace spelled out in different languages. These poles will be displayed on the US 41 sides of Phillippi Shores.

 

4)                  Old Business:

There was no old business discussed.

 

5)                  New Business:

Mrs. Dearing also informed Sac of the middle of the year data or the SRI that we need to discuss.

 

 

6)                  Open Discussion:

The Sac committee was informed that the Swift family will be donating monies to Phillippi Shore School, and all that is asked of the school is to have “the not named yet” media center be named after the swift family mother. The renaming ceremony will be around the 22nd of the month. Also there is about $1100.00 missing from our sister school in Guatamala, no one knows where the money is.
