Breakfast is an important meal!

After a long night, breakfast is a great way to actually break the fast and fuel you up for the day. Studies have shown that children who eat breakfast do better in school, have more energy to participate in physical activity, and tend to eat healthier throughout the day. Here are some ideas for breakfast makeovers for a nutritious balanced breakfast that can help our students concentrate on the upcoming FCAT testing:

Our children live in a fast paced world of exams, homework, and after school activities and busy parents.  This all adds up to a stressful daily routine.  In addition to physical benefits that include flexibility, coordination, balance, and strength, yoga helps many people reduce anxiety and stress.
