Browser Printing Settings

To print background colors and images, you may need to adjust your browser preferences. Unfortunately, there is no simple technique for setting this preference across all combinations of browsers, platforms, and print drivers. The following suggestions may be helpful to you, or consult your browser or print driver documentation if you cannot determine how to print background colors.

Internet Explorer: From the ‘Tools’ menu on your browser, select ‘Internet Options’. Click on the ‘Advanced’ tab, then scroll to the heading titled ‘printing’. Click on the box that reads ‘Print background colors and images’.
IE also allows you to preview before you print. From 'File' menu just choose 'Print Preview...'.

Sometimes if you print a page in portrait mode, text on the right side of the page might be cut off. To print the entire width of the web page, choose landscape mode from your printer menu. To do this, you will either need to change the 'Page setup…' or adjust the 'Properties' for your printer within the 'Print….' dialog box.

Some "wide" pages may be cut off even when printing in landscape mode on letter size paper. To print as much information as possible on a page, select landscape mode and print on legal size or tabloid size paper. If you encounter trouble, consult the documentation or help within your browser.
